We hope you can join us on December 10, 2018, International Human Rights Day, for CATW's annual gala to celebrate our successes in the fight to end human trafficking and the sexual exploitation of women and girls. We are thrilled to honor Aaron Marcu and Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP for their outstanding contributions to ending online sex trafficking; Football Hall of Famer Curtis Martin, Jr., for his dedicated passion to strengthen communities and end violence against women; and Rachel Foster and Alain Kodsi for their extraordinary, lifelong commitment to equality for women and girls in New York and beyond. CATW's 30th Anniversary Gala Host Committee includes Gloria Steinem, actors Meryl Streep, Audra McDonald, Ashley Judd, Téa Leoni, Vanessa Williams, John Doman and Mira Sorvino; celebrated authors Edwidge Danticat and two-time Pulitzer Prize-winner Lynn Nottage; and television host Seth Meyers, to name a few. Please join us for an evening of music and readings by actors and sex trade survivors to celebrate our remarkable honorees and support our collective efforts to end the trafficking and sexual exploitation of women and girls in our lifetime.
CATW is the oldest international organization dedicated to combating trafficking and sexual exploitation as forms of violence and discrimination against women and girls. For the past three decades, CATW has been at the forefront of groundbreaking success in enacting state, national and international laws that protect trafficked women and girls and hold their exploiters accountable. CATW also works with grassroots organizations, front-line service providers and sex trade survivors, and engages in advocacy, education, victim services and prevention programs for victims of trafficking and commercial sexual exploitation in Asia, Africa, Latin America, Europe, and the United States.
